The Links Shop is a one-bay fitting studio and workbench. No brand quotas, no shafts we're paid to like. We measure what your swing actually does, then bend, build and regrip until the numbers stop arguing.
Every session is one-on-one with the fitter who also does the bench work — the person who measures you is the person who builds it.

Irons and wedges on the machine, checked against spec and against each other. Cast heads drift; forged heads drift faster. Annual checks keep your 4°-gaps honest.
Shot-by-shot carry numbers for the whole bag, hunting the 25-yard hole between your longest wedge and shortest iron that costs you twice a round. You leave with a printed card.
Regripping while you wait, saved grips catalogued by hand size. Also: shaft pulls and re-tips, swingweight matching, length adjustments, ferrule work done properly.

Ten minutes of questions — your typical miss, your course, your budget ceiling — then we measure what you already own. Sometimes the right answer is a £40 bend, not a £1,400 set.
You hit your own clubs until the numbers settle. We fit against your real dispersion pattern, warts included, because that's the golfer who shows up on Saturday.
Test combinations one variable at a time. When a change doesn't move the numbers, we say so and put it back on the wall — even when it's the expensive one.
You leave with a full spec sheet — lofts, lies, lengths, swingweights, grip size, tipping — that's yours to keep, whoever builds it. If we build it, every club is checked against the sheet before it goes out.
The bay has a launch monitor; the bench has a vice, a loft machine and a kettle. Both halves keep the same three rules.
Nothing gets bent, cut or tipped until it's been measured twice. The spec sheet is the contract; the machine settles disputes.
We stock heads and shafts from anyone who makes good ones, and we're on nobody's incentive program. The numbers pick the club.
If new clubs won't fix it, you'll hear that in the first half hour, along with the name of a good teaching pro. It keeps our fittings honest and our regrip queue full.
